Notifier systems provide full fire protection for Sandy Park rugby ground and conference centre.

Exeter Chiefs have already made quite an impact since achieving their ambition of promotion to the top flight of English rugby union, the Premiership, for the first time. And off the pitch too, they are leading the way in life safety with the installation of a comprehensive Notifier fire detection system.

Rugby groundThe ID3000-based system installed by Notifier Engineered Systems Distributor partner, Trinity Protection Systems in conjunction with MITIE Engineering, is linked to a Voice Alarm and Public Address system and provides full fire protection for the Sandy Park ground, which also incorporates one of the top conference centres in the South West.

Trinity have also provided the fire detection system at the new David Lloyd Health & Fitness Centre at the Sandy Park site.

For Trinity chairman, Dave Bartlett, "the highly flexible and intuitive Notifier system is ideally designed to provide protection for such a multi-function facility, including huge crowds at the Chiefs' home games, conference delegates and the large number of staff involved in manning these events, many of whom are temporary."

Trinity, now a sponsor of the Chiefs, has extensive experience in working with Notifier systems. "As one of the world's leading providers of life safety systems, Notifier has a deserved reputation for providing robust, easy to install and use systems which ensure maximum protection for public venues such as Sandy Park," confirms Bartlett.
